Teshale Nuer is a Brooklyn based multi-disciplinary mover, storyteller and word lover focused on the story of the body, doing things imperfectly and the breath between comfort and safety. Current artistic obsessions include writing love letters to strangers on the train, finding the joy in everything and doing things imperfectly. A core part of The Collective Sex, Teshale has performed at the The Kitchen, New Women’s Space, Undiscovered Countries and the Jack Theater.
