Tara Barnwell is a rating veterans service representative at the Veterans Affairs regional office. Having served 20 years, she is a retiree of the United States Army. She has served in multiple deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. A native of Washington, North Carolina, Tara recently took an interest into painting and poetry. These two past times have served as a form of therapy and pleasure for her creatively.
