Sharifa Linton is born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Her love for dancing started at the age of 3 and she became a professional dancer during her years in high school. She is a 2012 graduate of Queens College with her B.A. in Dance and Theater. Ballet, Modern and Jazz are her favorite genres of dance and she teaches them at New Waves Dance Company. Her former dance training consist of teachings from Nathan Trice, Edisa Weeks, Joseph Mills, Marshall Davis, the Martha Graham School and Ballet Hispanico. She glad to be a member of aBunDANCE and Kowteff’s African Dance Company. She plans to trail her dancing around the world.
