Poetic License Veteran Voices

Born in the Bronx, raised in Jersey.  Before marrying my Marine Corps Vietnam veteran and way before becoming a military mom,

I went to college, worked in Manhattan as a secretary, traveled to Paris and London, hitchhiked to California and back, went to Woodstock and lived in a tent on the Gulf of Aqabah which leads into the Red Sea.

It was only later that war and peace became something other than headlines in the news.
