Mary Jo McConnell is an Advisory Board Member of Poetic Theater Productions’ Veteran Voices Program.
Mary Jo McConnell is a native New Yorker and passionate performing artist who has been fortunate enough to act and sing professionally for the past 37 years. Highlights include the National Tours of The Phantom of the Opera, Beauty and the Beast (Mrs. Potts), All Shook Up, Sister Act, and Disney’s Freaky Friday. Television appearances on Pan Am, Masters of Sex, One Life to Live and numerous indie films have led to her co-writing, starring in and producing her first short film: TRUMPED. MJ has an MFA in acting from American Conservatory Theater. She served as a Captain in the US Army Nurse Corps, specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care, and is a founding artist of the Musical Theatre Factory. She is currently recurring as Una in “Hunters” on Amazon Prime.
