Maria Mia Salazar is a Sculptor and Visual Artist based in New Jersey, She works primarily with clay and mixed mediums, such as oils, acrylics and paper, her art is style empowered surrealism, in hopes to create a visual language to connect souls, Her mission is to highlight the potential for post traumatic growth, which led her to found Claymore Vets, a nonprofit organization whose C4 Mission is to Cultivate a Connected Creative Community of Veterans, First Responders and Artists, rooted in Clay and Visual Arts processes, while empowering them creatively.
