Layla Diaz is a performance poet whose work has been done at Brave New Voices International Youth Poetry Slam, Rebel Verses, Mana Mic, and other various events. Layla’s work focuses around themes of being Cuban, biracial, gender, sexuality, and intersecting identities, from a lens of being a teenager and growing up in the current world. Layla is currently studying drama at The New School.
