Katelyn Sheehan spent 4 years active duty in the US Air Force repeatedly deploying in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. After service she worked as a rape crisis counselor and as a sex trafficking aftercare specialist in the US and across Asia, and as a veteran peer support specialist. She is a department of state Hindi Critical Language Scholar and hope to be selected to learn another language. Katelyn spent the last year traveling Across Asia biking, climbing and kayaking. This January she became an EMT and instructor of Wilderness Emergency Medicine in New Hampshire. Katelyn is stoked to be part of the Veterans Expeditions leadership team getting veterans outside for epic adventures. She is about to finish a 4 year degree (that’s been 10 years in the making) in Human services. After that she intends to work in international adventure guiding and wilderness therapy.
