PTP joins forces with frequent collaborator GOODW.Y.N. to present Ghost of Myself and You: Mothers of the Disappeared. This public art project and poetry presentation explores the impact of war from multiple perspectives led by military veteran poet and performance artist Nicole Goodwin AKA GOODW.Y.N.
This intimate portrayal of love and loss as consequences of warfare in Iraq and Afghanistan will include movement, poetry, spoken word, and dance performed by US veterans and artists of Middle Eastern descent. All at once an art installation, a performance piece, and a raw session of soul bearing, Ghost of Myself and You: Mothers of the Disappeared provides a three-dimensional, multi-faceted look at the ravages of war in the heart of New York City, Times Square.
