Duv is a soulful vocalist and songwriter from The Bronx known for his range in sound, ability to collaborate with a variety of artists and genres of music, and beatboxing skills.
In 2007, Duv released his debut solo album, Urban Artistik.
Currently, he is applying his talents as a founding member of the group music project; Soul Inscribed. The band fuses poetic hip hop lyrics and soulful vocals with funk and dub influenced instrumentation and production. Duv and the rest of Soul Inscribed have toured together to Mexico, Russia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Mauritius, Peru, Holland, and more as performers and arts educators.
They debuted their first album, “Soul Inscribed”, in January 2016. They released their second album called TUNE UP in August of 2020 via Tokyo Dawn Records. (soulinscribed.com https://www.tokyodawn.net/
Duv’s connections to LES NYC run deep. His first time ever spitting a poem on stage was here in LES at The Bowery Poetry Club. He later worked there as the box-office manager and head of security for 7+ years.
