Chris has served in the U.S. Air Force for nearly 20 years, and is beginning the transition into a life beyond his military service. He began writing as a means to treat his combat-related Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and has since continued this passion of relaying life experiences through poetic form. He has performed his poetry live at the Salmagundi Club in Manhattan for a Veteran’s Art reception, virtually for a New York Theater Workshop Open Mic Night, and is the self-published author of “One Guy’s Military Journey: Poetic Reflections,” a collection of poetry about PTSD and military life. Outside of writing and the daily grind, Chris spends his time creating memories and going on adventures with his wife and daughter.
